The new 2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, a new addition the Mercedes’ electric lineup, conquers charging and range concerns while bringing outrageous speed and performance to the party, along with Mercedes’ legendary luxury and comfort. We’re excited to show it off at Mercedes-Benz of Farmington when it arrives later this year.
Performance
Americans don’t have the Autobahn, but the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe offers the outrageous performance and speed that will eat up our roads with ease.
In May, Mercedes actually turned the iconic Sixth Street Bridge in Los Angeles into a mini-“Autobahn” to unveil this marvel of German engineering. Three vehicles sprinted LA’s Autobahn with Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt and F1 driver George Russell driving.
The AMG GT vehicles were the real stars. Here’s why:
- Up to 1,153 hp and 1,475 lb-ft of torque
- Hits zero-60 mph in just 60 seconds; zero-124 mph in 6.4 seconds
- Top speed of up to 186 mph
- AMGFORCE Sport+ drive program offers a V8 driving experience with authentic-feeling gear changes and the sound of a gas-fueled vehicle
- Seven AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs allow tailoring for desire and situation
Revolutionary Electric Technology
This is Mercedes’ first production car using smaller, lighter and power-dense axial-flux motors built by its British YASA. Besides turning in incredible performance, the AMG GT 4-Door’s range and charging performance should wipe out Americans’ long-held worries.
- Range in Europe is between 370-432 miles (no EPA rating yet)
- Charging capacity is 600 kW
- Take 10 minutes and add 286 miles of range
- Can charge from 10% to 80% in 11 minutes, although American fast chargers are not yet able to deliver that
Looks as Fast but Offers Plenty of Interior Comfort
With a long wheelbase, dynamic fastback, long sculpted hood, rear diffuser and low-to-the road profile riding on large wheels, the Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door Coupe looks as fast as it drives.
Inside is a continuous display dashboard with a 10.2” driver display, 14” multimedia display for the driver and a 14” passenger display. Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) is standard. Sport front seats provide lateral support. There’s a wide range of colors and trims available to customize your AMG GT4-door. Ample room in the rear offer passengers comfort. A panoramic glass roof can be switched between transparent and opaque and even display a star-studded sky and ambient lighting is customizable.
Much more could – and will – be said, but we hope you’ll visit us in Farmington to see this remarkable vehicle when it arrives in a few months.
