“GOAT” Brings Electrifying Mercedes-Benzes to a Movie Theater Near You

Automobiles are prominently featured in a slew of iconic movies. There’s the Mustang Mach 1 driven by Steve McQueen in the famous chase scene in “Bullitt,” the sexy silver Aston Martin DB5 in “Goldfinger,” a gull-wing DeLorean in “Back to the Future,” and the 1970 Dodge Charger in “The Fast and the Furious.” Who could forget the 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Pursuit Special in “Mad Max?”

But have there ever been three in the same movie? Driven by a goat!? Here comes “GOAT,” now showing in Salt Lake City theaters, which features three Mercedes-Benz vehicles: the all-new CLA 250+, the all-new electric GLC, and the Sprinter van.

Mercedes-Benz is a natural fit for the original action-comedy animated film. The main character in the all-animal “GOAT” is Will, who won’t settle for anything but success in becoming a roar ball pro. He’s determined – convinced that he can achieve his ambitions with drive and innovation. The Mercedes vehicles are emblematic of the film’s theme that “There is a place for those who dream.”

"There's a special spark between Mercedes-Benz and “GOAT.” We share the film’s ‘anything is possible’ spirit, always pushing boundaries and showing how far dedication can take you. Will's story of perseverance echoes the way we’ve been moving forward for 140 years." Christina Schenck, Vice President Digital & Communications and Investor Relations, Mercedes-Benz AG.

The CLA 250+ with EQ Technology has a 200kW electric motor delivering 268 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. It’s equipped with the 4th generation Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX), a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 14-inch touchscreen multimedia display, a full suite of safety technology and all the comfort and luxury one expects from a Mercedes. The experts at Edmunds tested the range: “an impressive 434 miles of range. It also posted impressive efficiency and charging stats.” It’s been named the "Car of the Year 2026" and the distinction of being the "safest car tested in Euro NCAP".

The new electric GLC SUV with EQ technology compact luxury crossover was lauded by “Inside EVs” as Mercedes-Benz’s “most important EV yet.” It has more than 400 miles of range. Mercedes says “It excels in performance, range, efficiency and charging speed,” while offering more room than its gas-powered sibs. It’s also powered by the innovative MB.OS – an AI-drive supercomputer.

The newest version of the popular Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van comes with either 144 or 170-inch wheelbases and two roof heights. It can seat from two to 15 and haul a lot of cargo.

Seamlessly integrated into “GOAT,” these Mercedes-Benz vehicles mirror the same drive, determination  and pioneering spirit that Will shows in “GOAT.”
