- The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450e – Best Midsize Luxury Plug-In Hybrid class. Edmunds lauded it for its quiet, well-appointed interior; power and efficiency; voice-command system; and standard and optional features. This second-generation GLE has an all-electric range of more than 50 miles and charges at home in 3.0 hours.
- The 2027 Mercedes-Benz CLA – Best Luxury Electric Car class, got shout-outs for range of more than 400 miles (longest EV range under $50k), RWD or AWD, classy styling, high-quality materials, quiet ride, excellent large-scale technology.
- The 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ - Best Super Luxury Electric Car class won props for its 390-mile EV range, tons of standard features, great in-car technology, a “wildly futuristic” and well-appointed interior, standard NACS fast-charging capability (including Tesla Supercharger compatibility), and standard ambient cabin Sound Experiences.
- The 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 400 – Best Super Luxury Electric SUV class took the prize for its 312-mile EV range, luxury interior with “supreme” comfort, seating for up to 7, standard AWD, lots of standard features, and a zero-60 mph acceleration of 5.7 seconds.
