Rugged Meets Luxury | 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS | MB Farmington

Utahans love the outdoors and the ability to get into the wilderness. Being able to do it in style and luxury is even more appealing. Mercedes-Benz of Farmington is eagerly awaiting the refreshed version of Mercedes-Benz’s large GLS-Class SUVs, which deliver both capability and style in abundance. The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs will come to the Salt Lake area later this year. 

Here are some of the high points:

Two “regular” versions 

2024 GLS 450 with 375 horsepower from a six-cylinder inline turbo engine that does zero-60 in 5.8 seconds. 2024 GLS580 with 510 horsepower from a twin-turbo V-8 engine that doe zero-60 in 4.7 seconds

Available Off-Road Engineering package, including upgraded air suspension that allows more ground clearance for off-road adventures and added underbody protection. In Off-Road mode, the driver gets a virtual view of the coming terrain. Towing capacity of up to 7,716 pounds. Updated styling with new grille design, front bumper, LED taillights, steering wheel, and new exterior and interior color choices. Standard seven seats – six are optional MBUX Interior Assistant with 12.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen and 12.3-inch driver display with three styles plus Classic, Sporty, or Discreet modes. 

Besides the GLS 450 and GLS580, the 2024 GLS-Class offers the sporty AMG® GLS 63 and super-luxurious Maybach GLS 600. 

The AMG® GLS 63 has a 4.0-liter V8 engine providing 603 horsepower with 627 lb-ft of torque that does zero-60 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 174 mph.

The Maybach GLS 600  has a 4.0-liter V8 engine that has 550 horsepower and does zero-60 in 4.7 seconds.
