So we at Mercedes-Benz of Farmington were pretty excited to learn that our brand – Mercedes-Benz – is considered one of the top 10 most important brands in the world … for the eighth year in a row. And it’s also the most valuable luxury automobile brand in the world.
The rankings are determined in research performed by the U.S. brand consulting company Interbrand in its “Best Global Brands of 2023.” Interbrand has been doing this research and issuing its results since 1999. It examines the top 100 brands identified in its study based on three criteria:
How well the brand performs financially How much the brand figures into consumers’ purchase decisions How much the brand influences future earnings
Mercedes-Benz has slotted in at eighth place on the list for the past five years but moved up to seventh this year, reflecting a nine percent increase in brand value. “The result is both a confirmation and an incentive for us: we are continuously building on our brand heritage to shape the future – with the goal of creating the most desirable cars in the world.”

Mercedes-Benz’s star represents the brand’s long-rooted identity as a leader in luxury automobiles and its heritage as an automotive innovator. Looking toward the future, Mercedes-Benz is extending that heritage to embrace the digital age and bring more iconic vehicles and services to the marketplace.
